Developing character and competing with excellence

Varsity boys soccer players celebrate in huddle

More than cheers and championships

Student athletes at Wesleyan grow physically, mentally, and spiritually as they develop character and compete with excellence. All 22 sports honor God by committing to hard work and teamwork, and the teams are led by dedicated, Christian coaches eager to mentor in sport and life. While we are proud of the banners and collegiate athletes, we hope all Wesleyan athletes have a foundation of faith and sportsmanship. Through generous support, athletes train and compete in incredible facilities including, 4 gymnasiums, 5 fields for football, soccer, and lacrosse, 11 tennis courts, 1.5 miles of cross country trails, an on-campus natatorium, and a state-of-the-art weight room.

Everyone that has ever coached me at Wesleyan didn't just care about what I could do on the court, the field, or the track; they truly cared about who I was as a person and exemplified the love of Jesus to me.Sutton West '18
