Giving at Wesleyan

Wesleyan School has been blessed over the years with tremendous philanthropic support from parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, friends, and foundations. For twenty-six of the past twenty-seven years, more than 90% of parents have supported the school with gifts to the Wesleyan Fund above and beyond tuition. For twenty-two of the past twenty-four years, 95% or higher of parents have supported the school with gifts to the Wesleyan Fund above and beyond tuition. Additionally, 15% of our alumni gave to the 2023-24 Alumni Fund.

Tuition only covers 92% of the operating budget. The remainder is supported by a robust annual fund as well as income from the school’s growing endowment, which now stands at $26,849,076 as of June 2023. The school carries no debt.

Please join us as we seek 100% parent participation in the Wesleyan Fund for the 2024-2025 school year! The Wesleyan Fund positively impacts the experience of every child by allowing the school to hire and retain the finest faculty and staff and to fund need-based financial aid. The school seeks to continue compensating its faculty and staff in the top four schools in metro Atlanta. In addition, no tuition dollars are spent supporting need-based financial aid, even though it is one of the school’s highest priorities. The Wesleyan Fund is essential to supporting both of these groups.
Thanks to our dedicated supporters, what seemed impossible has become reality.

Over the course of six campaigns, dating from 1996 to current day, the school has received more than $193 million in charitable gifts. Generous supporters have provided gifts and grants that exceeded expectations, and Atlanta-based foundations have been generous as well as our dedicated families. This level of support is both gratifying and humbling, and it is an encouragement to our faculty and staff that the extended school family believes deeply in Wesleyan’s mission as an authentically Christ-centered school of academic excellence. As a Christian school, we are prayerfully optimistic that this robust level of financial support brings glory to God and His transformational work in this community.
Miraculous is a word we use often when describing the history of support in our community.
These numbers make it difficult to attribute the past 26 years to anything else. We are excited to see what God has in store for Wesleyan School in this next chapter of our history.
