Lacy Gilbert
Gilbert was appointed to the faculty in 1997 as a teacher of physical education and as a basketball and soccer coach. She is an alumna of both Georgia Southern University, where she received her B.S. in Education and the University of Alabama where she received her Master’s Degree. Gilbert also served as an assistant director of athletics since 2011 and was the varsity girls soccer head coach for 16 years. In her final year as head coach, she led the girls' team to their first-ever state championship. Gilbert's influence has extended beyond the classroom and playing fields as she has also served on well over a dozen school-sponsored mission trips.
