Wesleyan partners with parents to provide each child with an exceptional childhood experience. We work collaboratively to build a foundation for our youngest students in a nurturing and stimulating environment during this season of immense academic, spiritual, and social growth.
Offering a classroom experience that is second to none, the values your child learns at home are reinforced at Wesleyan as we connect students with the best Christian educators and resources in Atlanta. Each child is known, encouraged, loved, and challenged within the appropriate developmental framework. This is part of our commitment to meet the academic, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of our students.
"Our primary goal in the lower school is to honor God by contributing to an exceptional childhood experience for our students."
~Jason Erb, lower school principal

Lower School Curriculum
The lower school consists of kindergarten through fourth grade. An overview of each grade level’s curriculum and teaching team is provided below.
Lower school students attend chapel every week. Tailored specifically for our younger students, lower school chapel is a time of worship and learning involving songs, skits, a chapel devotion, and prayer.
Students also participate in discipleship groups every other week. These groups are gender-separated groups of eight or less students in first through fourth grade meeting with a teacher or teaching assistant. The purpose of the group is for students to build relationships across grade levels and to collectively discuss and apply biblical principles to their daily lives.
