There are many ways to stay connected with Wesleyan:
On Tuesday, March 26, high school juniors attended a career exploration workshop that featured an alumni panel. The alumni panel included engineer Emma Galarza ‘15, nurse Katie McLaughlin ‘15, financial advisor Nick Eversbusch ‘17, and attorney Daniel Gholston ‘99.
On Friday, Jan. 5, Wesleyan School inducted Zach Hernandez ‘11, Jahmai Jones ‘15, Jordan Mack ‘16, and Sutton West ‘18 to the Wesleyan School Athletic Circle of Honor.
On Wednesday, Dec. 20, Wesleyan alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, and former faculty gathered at the Factory Atlanta for the annual Alumni Christmas Party.
On Thursday, Nov. 16, Wesleyan students celebrated John Wesley Day to acknowledge the generous contributions of those who have given and continue to give to Wesleyan.
During the months of September and October, over 20 faculty and staff members visited Clemson University, the University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University, Auburn University, and a central location in Atlanta as a hub for several downtown universities.
As part of homecoming weekend, on Saturday, Sept. 23, Wesleyan’s Alumni Office hosted reunions for the classes of 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018. These classes celebrated their 25-year, 20-year, 15-year, 10-year, and 5-year reunions, respectively.
On Thursday, March 30, Wesleyan School inducted Sterling Feininger ‘13, Isabella Mateu ‘14, Vivian McCoy ‘15, and Richard Staz into the Fine Arts Circle of Honor.
Wesleyan School alumni Chris Middleton ‘16 returned to campus to speak on the Christian life theme “respond” in middle school chapel. Middleton reminded students that it is possible to be in the presence of glory and completely miss it.
On Friday, Jan. 6, Wesleyan School inducted the 2023 class to the Wesleyan School Athletic Circle of Honor. This year’s inductees were Tucker Cannon ‘16, Jameson Kavel ‘17, and Kylie Reed ‘16.
On Thursday, Dec. 15, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, and former faculty gathered for the Alumni Christmas Party at Factory Atlanta. This annual event allows the Wesleyan community to maintain important relationships.
Middle and high school students honored those who have served the United States during the Veterans Day Assembly. Guest speaker Bobby Fulton ‘10 spoke on the importance of service.
David Joyner ’05 recently published his third book, Teaching at Scale. While finalizing the book, Joyner was named to Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s “40 under 40” list recognizing talented Georgia Tech alumni who have made significant contributions in their industries at an early age.
On Saturday, Oct. 8, current members of the Wesleyan Marching Wolves visited Norcross High School to watch the Auburn University Marching Band rehearse. Among performing members were Wesleyan alumnae Anastasia Johnston ‘20, captain of the Auburn University Flagline, and Izzy Rodriguez ‘20.
Cassie Ann Kiggen ‘09 recently began a new role as the Chief Communications Officer at the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
