Wesleyan Parents Club

There are many opportunities for you to be involved! We appreciate our parent volunteers and would encourage all families to participate in our events. Visit our web pages listed below to find an opportunity to share your talents and get involved today!

All parents of Wesleyan students are automatically members! We are a Georgia non-profit corporation and our primary goal is fostering connections between our parents, faculty, staff and students. Our annual events encourage involvement, provide focused fellowship, help build our community and embrace our new Wesleyan families.

  • American Red Cross Blood Drive

    Wesleyan Blood Drive

Each school year, the Wesleyan Parents Club sponsors a blood drive with assistance from the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross provides nurses and supplies for the day. Faculty, staff, parents, and students over 16 years of age are encouraged to participate if they meet the American Red Cross donation requirements.

The Parents Club provides volunteer support by organizing the registration for the drive, checking in the donors, providing snacks and beverages for donors, and ensuring that the day runs smoothly. The Parents Club volunteers also provide support, when needed, to the American Red Cross staff.

More Blood Drive information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, American Red Cross Blood Drive.
  • Christmas Decorations

The members of this committee assist in decorating the campus for the Christmas season in coordination with Facilities.

Responsibilities include checking the condition of decorations, directing placement and packing away in January.

More Christmas Decoration information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Christmas Decorations.
  • Christmas Ornaments

These elegant ornaments are unique collectors’ items and capture the true essence of the Christmas season. They make a wonderful gift, as well as a treasured keepsake for your own collection. Each ornament is a beveled optic crystal that is highly polished, pure and colorless, with excellent clarity and sparkle. Your ornament will be housed in a designer gift box for safe handling and storage.

The Wesleyan Christmas ornaments are in limited supply so we urge you to order today to reserve your ornament. Delivery will be no later than mid-November. In addition to the current year, a limited number of ornaments are available for prior years back to 1998.

What a wonderful way to commemorate each year that a child attends Wesleyan! The ornaments also make terrific gifts for family, friends, and teachers. Each ornament comes packaged in a box for safe handling and holiday storage.

More Christmas Ornaments information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Christmas Ornaments.
  • Cotillion

Attention parents of all rising sixth-grade boys and girls! This is your year to sign up your sons and daughters for Cotillion. Classes will be held at Wesleyan starting in October and will meet once a week after school for four weeks, concluding with an instructional dinner and dance at the Atlanta Athletic Club in November.

Please plan to be at the sixth-grade parent coffee in August to hear more about and register for Cotillion.

All classes take place on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons at school, depending which day you register, from 3:15-4:30pm.

More Cotillion information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Cotillion.
  • Gala and Auction

The biannual JOY Gala event is the WPC’s largest community event for the school. It is a wonderful way for the Wesleyan family to come together in fellowship, and celebrate the school’s JOY motto. Proceeds benefit Wesleyan School, most recently committing to Impact & Empower: the Campaign for Students. Through your participation, these funds are used to educate and guide students who are confident, successful, dedicated and most importantly, live their lives with “servants’ hearts.

  • Grandparents and Special Friends Day

    Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Each school year, the Wesleyan Parents Club, in partnership with the Development Office, sponsors Grandparents and Special Friends Day during which the lower school opens its doors to grandparents and special friends of students in grades kindergarten through fourth grade.

This is a scheduled half day for all students. Grandparents and special friends will have the opportunity to visit their student's classroom, meet their teachers, and enjoy a special time of fellowship with their students as they attend a chapel service together.

The Wesleyan Parents Club provides important assistance in hosting this event by preparing and sending invitations, organizing the day's activities, greeting guests, and helping to guide the visitors around the campus.

  • Moms in Prayer

Moms in Prayer – Mondays at 8:10 a.m.

The Wesleyan chapter of Moms in Prayer International (formerly Moms In Touch) is a group of mothers actively praying for our children and our school.

We meet every Monday at 8:10 a.m. in the Lower School Chapel for about one hour to pray. We welcome any Wesleyan mom, even if you can only attend sporadically.

"Moms in Prayer has really shown me the hearts of the Wesleyan mothers and how much they love their children and this school. We’ve seen God answer prayer after prayer, and it is so encouraging! It is the BEST way I can start my week."
