Wesleyan Parents Club is a Georgia non-profit corporation, and our primary goal is to foster connections between our parents, faculty, staff, and students. Through our annual events, we strive to provide opportunities for engagement and fellowship, while strengthening our community and embracing new Wesleyan families. All parents of Wesleyan students are automatically members!

  • American Red Cross Blood Drive

Each school year, the Wesleyan Parents Club sponsors a blood drive with assistance from the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross provides nurses and supplies for the day. Faculty, staff, parents, and students over 16 years of age are encouraged to participate if they meet the American Red Cross donation requirements.

The Parents Club provides volunteer support by organizing the registration for the drive, checking in the donors, providing snacks and beverages for donors, and ensuring that the day runs smoothly. The Parents Club volunteers also provide support, when needed, to the American Red Cross staff.

More Blood Drive information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, American Red Cross Blood Drive.
  • Christmas Decorations

The Christmas season is a beautiful time on the Wesleyan campus. The members of this committee assist the Facilities team in transforming many of the buildings on campus, both inside and outside, for the season. Responsibilities include directing the placement of the decorations, updating decorations as needed, and packing the decorations away in January.

More Christmas Decoration information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Christmas Decorations.
  • Christmas Ornaments

Each year, the Wesleyan Parents Club works with a current student to design a Christmas ornament to sell to the school community. These elegant ornaments capture the true essence of the Christmas season and make a wonderful gift, as well as a treasured keepsake for your own collection.

The Wesleyan Christmas ornaments are in limited supply so we encourage you to place your order early in the school year for mid-November delivery. In addition to the current year, a limited number of ornaments are available for prior years back to 1998.

More Christmas Ornaments information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Christmas Ornaments.
  • Cotillion

Attention parents of rising sixth-grade boys and girls…this is the year to sign your children up for Cotillion! Starting in October, on-campus classes are held once a week for four weeks, and the season concludes with an instructional dinner and dance at a local venue in November. More information about dates and registration will be communicated at the sixth-grade parent coffee in the fall.

More Cotillion information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Cotillion.
  • Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Wesleyan Parents Club helps sponsor Grandparents and Special Friends Day for students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Grandparents and special friends will have the opportunity to visit their student's classrooms, meet their teachers, and enjoy a special time of fellowship with their students as they attend a chapel service together.

The Wesleyan Parents Club provides important assistance in hosting this event by preparing and sending invitations, organizing the day's activities, greeting guests, and helping to guide the visitors around the campus.

More Grandparents and Special Friends Day information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
  • Homecoming Hoedown

Break out your hat and boots to get into the spirit for the annual Wesleyan Parents Club Homecoming Hoedown, which is held one evening during homecoming week at the Hoyt Athletic Fields! Fun for the whole family includes: obstacle courses, carnival games, face painting, entertainment by a DJ, special appearances by the high school band and cheerleaders, a family-friendly dinner, and so much more.

Students and families in kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to participate in the fun, and students in seventh through twelfth, as well as parents, are encouraged to volunteer at this event.

More Hoedown information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Hoedown.
  • Hospitality

During Admissions season, this committee supports the Admissions Office by hosting guests during testing days.

More Hospitality information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Hospitality.
  • JOY Committee

The mission of the JOY Committee is to recognize, nurture, and care for members of the Wesleyan family in times of birth, illness, death, and celebration. Our concerns are shown through prayer, cards, meals, assistance with carpool, etc.

JOY Committee Chairs often receive emails from teachers, grade chairs, and members of the Wesleyan community regarding another family's needs. Volunteers are asked to check in with these families to determine how JOY can best serve them.

More JOY information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, JOY.
  • JOY Gala, Spring 2024

The biannual JOY Gala, hosted by the Wesleyan Parents Club, is a wonderful opportunity for the Wesleyan community to come together in fellowship and celebrate the school’s JOY motto. Through parent participation in this important fundraising event, we are able to support the school as they educate and guide students who are confident, successful, dedicated, and most importantly, live their lives with “servants’ hearts."

The spring 2024 JOY Gala will take place on March 2, 2024.
  • Moms in Prayer

The Wesleyan chapter of Moms in Prayer International is a group of mothers actively praying for our children and our school. Each year Moms in Prayer also coordinates the Praying for Every Child Initiative.

"Moms in Prayer has really shown me the hearts of the Wesleyan mothers and how much they love their children and this school. We’ve seen God answer prayer after prayer, and it is so encouraging! It is the BEST way I can start my week."

More Moms In Prayer information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Moms in Prayer.
  • Publix Partners

By participating in the Publix Partners program, our parents earn money for our teachers every time they shop at Publix.

By giving the funds we earn back to our Wesleyan teachers, they can purchase “bonus” items for their classrooms that they may not otherwise be able to purchase.

These extra supplies help complement the engaging learning environments that our teachers (and students!) take great pride in throughout the year.
  • Teacher Treats

On several mornings throughout the school year, each school division has a coordinator who works alongside a team of volunteers to provide a light breakfast and other treats for our teachers, administrators, and facilities team. These treats are eagerly anticipated and much appreciated!

More Teacher Treats information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Teacher Treats.
  • Teacher, Staff, and Facilities Appreciation

At the end of the school year, this committee organizes a breakfast for Wesleyan’s entire team of teachers, staff, and facilities personnel held in conjunction with their weekly chapel. This wonderful event provides us an opportunity to let them know how grateful we are for them.

More Teacher and Staff Appreciation information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Teacher and Staff Appreciation.
  • Tuition Raffle

Each year, the Parents Club sponsors a tuition raffle, with the winning ticket receiving a full credit toward tuition at Wesleyan. The raffle drawing takes place at the Wesleyan Artist Market in April.

More Tuition Raffle information may be found in Blackbaud under Groups, Wesleyan Parents Club, Topics, Tuition Raffle.
