Fine Arts Members of the Week - Jaucqir LaFond and Sarah Lim

We have two Fine Arts Members of the Week again this week! Please join us in congratulating Jaucqir LaFond and Sarah Lim for their achievements and contributions within the Fine Arts program at Wesleyan. Click "Read More" for details about each student!
Senior, Jaucqir LaFond, has performed in all of Wesleyan’s musicals throughout his high school career. He will be featured in the production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as Cogsworth. In the fall, he garnered a GHSA One-Act Best Actor award for playing Odysseus in the fall production of The Odyssey. Jaucqir has been a fixture on the Wesleyan stage since middle school, playing memorable roles such as Albert Peterson in Bye, Bye, Birdie and Nanki-Poo in Hot Mikado. He has grown to be a leader in the theater department as both a strong talent and a hard working actor. We look forward to to watching him pursue performance in college.

8
th grade student, Sarah Lim, is one of this week’s Fine Arts Members of the Week. Sarah recently passed her 2nd round All State Chorus audition with a perfect score! This solidifies her spot in the GMEA All State Middle School Treble Chorus next month in Athens, Georgia. Sarah is also a 4-year chorus member, chapel band leader, and member of the Willy Wonka cast. Congratulations, Sarah, and thank you for using your gifts to glorify God at Wesleyan and beyond!
