Southern Star Music Festival Results
Middle School Chorus is happy to report their results from the Southern Star Music Festival on March 31.
Both the 7th and 8th Grade Chorus and the 5th and 6th Grade Chorus received straight Gold (top) ratings. The 7th and 8th Grade Chorus won the Sweepstakes, deeming them best middle school chorus to compete all weekend; only one point separated the 5th and 6th Grade Chorus and from the 7th and 8th grade's winning score! The judges’ comments included:
- Nice blended tone
- You are ALL making beautiful music
- Beautiful and sensitive performance
- You communicated the text to us with your faces as well
- Really fine job
