High school chorus performs spring concert

High school chorus students performed their spring concert for their family, teachers, and peers on Friday, April 19 in Austin Chapel.
The concert began with a performance of “Wake Me Up” by Avicii, Bergling, Einziger, and Blacc. Next, students performed a love song called “Misty” by Erroll Garner.

Allison Reding ‘25, Norah Mukana ‘25, and Jess Epps ‘26 performed a beautiful rendition of “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell. Epps also performed “Tennessee Orange” while playing guitar, explaining that she had been a Tennessee fan since she was little.

As the concert wrapped up, Meyer dedicated “The Road Home” by Stephen Paulus to the class of 2024 and specifically to senior Dina Samson, a four-year chorus member.

“The most meaningful line is ‘there’s no such beauty as where you belong,’” reflects Meyer.

The concert ended with chamber singers performing “On My Way,” by Jeanine Tesori.

Well done, high school chorus students!
