Flynn Magill '35 serves as principal for the day

On April 17, Flynn Magill ‘35 served as principal for the day. This temporary employment was an auction item at the JOY Gala, and Magill went above and beyond as he served as the principal.
Magill’s day began with greeting students in the lobby before heading to chapel in a golf cart with Dr. Nancy Jones, lower school dean of counseling and student services and director of counseling. During chapel, Magill exercised his authority by declaring Friday a spirit wear (and crazy sock) day. As principal, Magill also secured a special nacho lunch for Friday’s menu and permitted extra recess time for kindergarten for the rest of the week.

Other important tasks Magill completed throughout the day included attending an important business meeting with Chris Cleveland, head of school, participating in a principals meeting with Dr. Jason Erb, (official) lower school principal, and teaching a short history lesson to Mrs. Burns’ fourth grade class.

Thank you, Flynn, for being such an excellent principal for the day!
