1st Game Write-up:

The Wesleyan Wolves baseball team enjoyed much success in their region match-up with White County tonight in a game played at Donn Gaebelein Field in Peachtree Corners.  The Wolves topped the Warriors by the score of 8-0.  Eli Hewitson starred for Wesleyan as he threw a 7-inning complete game shutout on only 60 pitches.  He surrendered only 3 hits and struck out 3 batters.  The Wolves opened the scoring in the 4th inning when Ryley Webb drew a bases loaded walk.  Webb was followed by a sacrifice fly from Carter Hayes to plate the Wolves’ second run.  And then another bases loaded walk brough the third run of the inning home.  Wesleyan tacked on 4 more runs in the 5th inning on a solo homer from Grayson McCollum and a 2-run homer from Knox Bingham and an RBI single from Coleman Eldridge.  That was all Hewitson would need as he shut the door on White County.
