Three teams of Wesleyan students earned first place awards. Colin Davis ‘29, Matthew Kane ‘29, and Andrew Yang ‘29 received first place in the Construction Challenge. Tiffany Kim ‘29, Lillian Lu ‘30, and Kimberley Wang ‘29 received first place in Medical Technology. LaShandia Hill, middle school STEM teacher and TSA coach, was selected as the Tommy Pitchford Inspirational Teacher Award for middle school at the conference.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized, and I give all glory to God. I also want to give a special thanks to our amazing state team for working so hard this year to contribute to the success of our program and gaining recognition with this award,” smiles Hill.

Tiffany Kim ‘29 campaigned and won the only middle school office position at the state level. She will serve as the second vice president for the 2024-2025 season.

Way to go, middle school TSA team, and congratulations, Tiffany and Mrs. Hill.
