Varsity Girls Basketball Wins the 7-AAA Region Tournament

The Lady Wolves captured the 7AAA Region Tournament Championship for the second straight year after defeating Pickens County 64-54 in front of a packed out crowd at Lumpkin County on Saturday night. Chit-Chat Wright took home Region Player of the Year and Bryanna Preston won Defensive Player of the Year. Johanna Preston was recognized with First-Team honors, Eva Garabadian with Second-Team, and Shayla Bahr with Honorable Mention. Go Wolves!
