JV Girls Basketball Update 1/16
The JV Girls Basketball team went 2-0 last week capturing wins vs. Pickens (32-20) and vs. Mt. Vernon (40-32). The wins moved the Lady Wolves to 5-2 on the season. Click read more to read highlights and stats from the two wins.

Wesleyan 32 @ Pickens 20
Grace McLeod led the Wolves with 15 to pace 6 scorers. After a tight halftime score of 21-17 in favor of Wesleyan, the Wolves shut Pickens out in the third quarter and almost all of the fourth quarter before a late 3 pointer fell in for the opponents. Emma Jane Gillis lead a strong defensive effort with 5 blocks.
Wesleyan 40 vs. Mt. Vernon 32
A strong defensive effort led to great transition opportunities for Ansley Jamieson (16 points) and Grace McLeod (10 points). Siena Myers tallied 11 points with great shooting from the floor. Morgan Mixon scored 2 points and Suzanne Jones chipped in with 1 point.
