Middle school TSA competes in Technology Day

On Monday, Oct. 10, Wesleyan’s middle school Technology Student Association (TSA) team competed in the Georgia TSA Technology Day.
The event was held at the Reaves Arena at the Georgia National Fair Grounds in Perry, Georgia. Students participated in various competitions to win fair award ribbons and cash awards for themselves and their chapter.

Wesleyan’s middle school TSA team placed in the top ten in three out of the five events they entered. There were approximately 60 middle school and high school teams total competing in 12 events. TSA will announce the exact placing, including the ribbons and awards earned, at the upcoming Fall Leadership Conference.

“I am so proud of our team with their constant drive to improve on their projects and the great collaboration among all the members,” states STEM teacher LaShandia Hill. “We have TSA members in band, cross country, football, and tennis, and they still find the time to get things done outside of our meetings by corresponding through emails and coming to TSA practice to help.”

Well done, middle school TSA members!
