“All Shook Up” cast and crew members recognized by Shuler Hensley Awards
On Thursday, March 24, the Shuler Henlsey Award nominations and recognitions were announced. Several members the Wolf Players winter production of “All Shook Up” were recognized.
Brad Meyer, high school chorus director, received a nomination in the category of Music Direction, and will find out the winner in his category at the awards on April 21. Wesleyan’s costume design team of Judy Beaman and Joan Rogers received an honorable mention for Costume Design. William Sabonis-Chafee received The Orbit Arts Academy Broadway University Scholarship.
“The Shuler Awards are a statewide program and there are many talented theater programs across our state,” said Stephanie Simmons, high school theater director. “We are thrilled for Brad, Judy, Joan, William, and the entire cast of ‘All Shook Up’ for the acknowledgement the entire cast and crew received.”
The Shuler Awards will take place on Thursday, April 21 at the Cobb Performing Arts Centre and will be broadcast live on GPB that evening.
