Wesleyan lower and middle school students take 1st and 2nd in GISA Virtual Art Show

Earlier this month, three Wesleyan students were honored for their artwork in the inaugural GISA Virtual Art Show.

Piper Morris ‘27 won first place in the middle school painting category for her piece entitled “Nutmeg the Curious Dog.” Caroline Rountree ’27 placed second for her piece “Guilty Gatsby.”

In the upper elementary painting category, Grace Galloway ’31 placed second for her piece “Fall Barn.”

“This is a new statewide competition for middle and lower school students,” shared Meg Foster, director of fine arts. “We are thrilled to have three of our younger artists recognized at the state level for their incredible work!”

Way to go Piper, Caroline, and Grace!
