Football Postseason Honors

The Wolves accumulated many postseason awards for their efforts in the 2021 campaign.

Defensive Coordinator Chip Myrick was recognized by Parker Resources as one of the top Defensive Coordinators in A-Private this season after holding opponents to 11 points/game.

Brooks Sturgeon earned AJC All-State Honors as a Placekicker after setting records at Wesleyan for Longest Field Goal, Longest Punt, Most Field Goals made in a season and in a career, and the highest punting average in a season.

The Gwinnett Touchdown Club awarded Drew Ball with Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Matthew Brown with the "Team First" award, Jaydin Brown with the Cecil Morris Award, and Team Mom Cori Coleszar with the Dave Hunter Award for outstanding service to a high school football program.  The TD club also recognized Byrne Ahrenkiel, Drew Ball, Michael Soukup, and Brooks Sturgeon as Honorable Mention All-County.

The Region 5 Coaches awarded the following Wolves with All-Region Honors:
First Team: Jamie Tremble, Thomas Cook, Matthew Brown, Byrne Ahrenkiel, and Drew Ball
Second Team: Jett Miller, Will Tucker, Reed Purcell, Andrew Willis, Bo Britt, Michael Soukup, Trent Debow, Matthew Wright, Nick Schaller, Charlie Rickell, and Townes Hardy
Honorable Mention: Will Burns, Bobby Cook, Jay Black, and Charlie Hillegass
