Alumni from the class of 2018 shine in Auburn University fine arts programs

Literally and figuratively, Wesleyan alumni are making their mark in various fine arts programs at Auburn University. Ashton Cameron, Jon Hunt Ficken, Grace Halley, and Natalie Hamlin, all members of the class of 2018, won annual awards recognizing their talent, creativity, and hard work.
  • Cameron, a graphic design major, won a Spring 2021 Graphic Design Studio Award for excellence in graphic design classes.
  • Ficken, an architecture major, was recognized as the 2021 Auburn University Wood Competition Winner. In this competition, architecture students vie for the opportunity to work alongside an external client with an architectural project made of wood. This is one of the most prestigious honors for architecture students.
  • Halley, a graphic design major, also won a Spring 2021 Graphic Design Studio Award for excellence in graphic design classes. In addition, she designed the logo selected by Auburn’s Early Education Center as their new logo. To learn more, read this article.
  • Hamlin was recognized as the 2021 Environmental Design Outstanding Student. She was also named a finalist in an ePortfolio competition and won the Auburn Research Student Symposium Poster Award. To learn more, read this article.
