Peter Pan Opens This Week Led by Eight Seniors and a Female Captain Hook

It is opening week for the Wolf Players production of Peter Pan. You don't want to miss this performance about the Boy Who Would Not Grow Up.

This high school cast is led by a core group of seniors who have been acting together for many years, in some cases since lower school. "We're so proud of our cast! They have tackled the seemingly simple story of Peter Pan and revealed what it truly means to be childlike," said Stephanie Simmons, high school theater director. "Playing pretend together has been so much fun and that fun has been spearheaded by eight wonderful seniors and their talent."

In an unexpected twist, Captain Hook is played by a female in this rendition of the beloved classic. "Captain Hook, played by senior Tori Hedlund, leads an all-female crew of fierce pirates as they battle the Lost Boys led by senior Carson Green who plays Peter Pan," Simmons went on to say.
After months of rehearsal, the Wesleyan Wolf Players are pleased to present Peter Pan, October 21 - 23 in Powell Theater:

•    Thursday, Oct. 21 at 4:30 p.m.
•    Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
•    Saturday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.

Please visit the Peter Pan ticketing page to reserve seats.  Tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-served. Seats are sectioned in socially distant “pods” of 1, 2, 3, and 4. The number of your pod reflects the number of tickets in the pod. Every pod is located 3 feet from one another. Don’t forget to bring some money for concessions to get the full theater experience!

This show is appropriate for all audiences. Please note that all lower and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent when attending the show.

In addition, you can stream recorded performances on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. For free access to the recorded performances, access the Fine Arts Performance Information resource board in Blackbaud.
