Donuts with Dad – the 2020 version
Thanks to some creative thinking by our lower school team, students and dads got to enjoy Donuts with Dad this past Friday.
“Donuts with Dad is a favorite fall event in lower school and is usually very well attended,” said Jason Erb, lower school principal. “And by well attended I also mean crowded! We knew we needed to come up with a way to still fulfill the spirit of the day – for kids to show their dads some extra appreciation and for some time together to worship. I think our team pulled that off in a way that was meaningful and memorable for both students and dads.”
Lower school had a delayed start time on Friday, allowing dads to have breakfast with their children. Students gave their dads special gifts they worked on in art class, and the chapel team provided a pre-recorded video for worship and chapel time together.
