JV Boys Rally to Beat the Wildcats

The JV Boys Basketball team beat Westminster on the road on Tuesday.  The Wolves trailed 15-29 in the second quarter, but the momentum began to change when Drew Wren’s basket at the halftime buzzer cut the deficit to 10.  Wesleyan built on that momentum with a strong third quarter which culminated with another buzzer beater, this one a three-pointer by Andrew Van Wie, which gave the Wolves their first lead of the game at 40-39.  Once they had the lead, the Wolves never gave it back.  Wesleyan was led in scoring by Tate Gilley who scored 23 points and hit five 3-pointers.
