WPC Blood Drive welcomes new and recurring blood donors

On Friday, Jan. 27, the Wesleyan community came together to support the Red Cross by donating blood. The WPC event, led by parents Ginger Holland and Patricia Morris, welcomed 77 donors to Yancey Gymnasium. This event yielded 74 pints of donated blood, with 31% of donors participating for the first time. On average, each pint corresponds to three patients receiving necessary and possibly life-saving blood, so the Wesleyan community will positively impact 222 patients! We are so grateful for the Wesleyan blood donors. This event was also successful thanks to all of our generous food and non-food items donated! We are excited for next year’s blood drive !
