Wesleyan faculty and staff visit alumni on College Road Show

Over the past couple of months, Wesleyan faculty and staff have traveled to nearby colleges to reconnect with alumni.
Colleges visited included the University of Georgia, Clemson University, Auburn University, and Kennesaw State University. The last College Road Show took place in Atlanta and alumni at Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Georgia State University joined the Wesleyan faculty and staff for lunch.

All faculty were invited to attend the College Road Shows to catch up with students and maintain relationships built.

“I love the College Road Shows so much,” reflects Greg Lisson, director of Christian life. “It’s a joy to see how much students have grown and to learn about what they’re pursuing and passionate about now that they’ve had a few years away from Wesleyan.”

The purpose of the College Road Shows is to love and pursue our college-aged alumni, and in doing so, we aim to imitate how Christ continues to love and pursue them in this season.

“During their time at Wesleyan, we teach students that they are loved by us and the Lord. We want to remind them that this love doesn’t stop just because they graduated,” explains Shelley Noble, director of alumni giving.

In all we do as a school, we aim to follow the example of Christ. Just as Jesus went to be with His people, we want to go to be with ours.

“Travelling by bus to revisit former students is worth it because we understand the importance of pursuing others, reminding them they are seen and known, and meeting them wherever they are,” states Noble.

Thank you to all our alumni who attended. We are so proud of you, and we are always in your corner!
