Fourth grade students perform the Easter play

Fourth grade students performed the beloved, annual Easter play, beautifully telling the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.
After weeks of practicing in the classroom, students took the stage and brought their talent and personality into their roles.

“I saw students grow in their independence during the Easter play,” reflects Emma Grace Burns, fourth grade chair. “They took the Easter play seriously and honored the special story well on stage.”

By performing the Easter play, students research and study what life was like during Jesus’ time on Earth, and they learn important details about His life that can sometimes be overlooked when reading Scripture.

“Through acting out the scenes that took place during Holy Week, students are also able to feel the gravity of what our Savior did for us,” explains Burns.

Thank you, fourth grade students, for sharing the most beautiful story ever told through your performance!
