WPC Blood Drive supports the Red Cross

On Friday, Jan. 26, the Wesleyan community joined together to donate blood to support the Red Cross. Faculty, staff, parents, and students over the age of 16 were encouraged to participate if they met the American Red Cross donation requirements.
The event was headed up by the WPC, led by parents Ginger Holland and Patricia Morris. 72 donors gave blood, and 42% were first-time donors. The event yielded 68 units of blood.

The Red Cross supplies approximately 40 percent of the United States’ blood supply. Thank you to everyone who supported the Red Cross as they work to help patients in need.
