Senior Kallaghan Freeman selected as Wesleyan's Jefferson Scholarship nominee

The college advising office is pleased to announce that senior Kallaghan Freeman has been nominated by a faculty committee as Wesleyan’s nominee for the Jefferson Scholarship at the University of Virginia.
In addition to his outstanding academic record and membership in numerous honor societies, Freeman is a four-year member of the Wesleyan soccer teams and plays club soccer outside of school. He is an active member of the chess club and is an entrepreneur with his own private business washing and detailing cars.

If awarded, the Jefferson scholarship covers the entire four-year cost of attendance at the University of Virginia and provides unique enrichment and travel opportunities. Freeman will now complete a rigorous application process including writing essays, securing recommendations, and potentially interviewing with the scholarship selection committee.

Please congratulate Kallaghan and his family for this honor and wish him well in his quest to become a Jefferson Scholar.
