Christian Life at Wesleyan

At Wesleyan we believe that spiritual formation happens best in the context of relationships. Therefore, we offer a wide variety of programs and experiences which cultivate meaningful relationships among students and faculty. In Christian life, these offerings include retreats, community service, chapel, discipleship groups, and missions.

The explicit purpose of these offerings is to encourage students to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and this is accomplished through a community which nurtures and challenges them in their faith. Our goal in these experiences is to embody the words of 1 Thessalonians 2:8 (NIV): “Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”
