Fine Arts Members of the Week - Holland Ragsdale and Madeline Benfield

Fourth grade student, Holland Ragsdale, stands out because she always listens intently to the instructions and tips for success and really tries to apply them. She challenges herself to try new things and has a vision for her own style and designs. Holland has created some very cool glass designs in her art classes outside of school. Her talents and interests are not limited to visual arts; she’s a part of the chapel actors group as well and will be appearing as Chip in the upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast. Holland is a wonderfully creative young lady.
Senior, Madeline Benfield, is involved in multiple areas of the Fine Arts. Madeline is in Advanced Placement art focusing on Photography. She recently received acceptance into Parsons School of Design in NYC with a Visual Art scholarship. She is also serving as stage manager for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the upcoming High School musical opening January 31. In addition, she will be competing in the state level at the annual All State Art Symposium, which is a competitive and highly selective competition. Madeline is full of generosity, both in service and in heart. Her creativity inspires everyone around her. Congratulations, Madeline.
