Middle School - Exam Week Information

Arrival during Exam Week (December 13 through December 19):
- School begins at 8:50am every day for the entire middle school unless a student is using extended time for his/her exam.
- Dubose Dining Hall will continue to open at 7:30am for breakfast each morning from December 13 through 18. Breakfast will not be provided on December 19.
- On Tuesday morning, December 19, students should not arrive prior to 8:30am unless they are using extended time for their exam. We have a faculty Christmas breakfast in the dining hall that morning, so we will not have supervision for students prior to 8:30am.
Dismissal During Exam Week:
- 5th and 6th Grade: We will have normal dismissal at 2:55pm every day except Tuesday, December 19, when dismissal is at 10:35am after the grade level Christmas parties.
- 7th and 8th Grade: Exams will end at 10:25am every day except on Friday when the MCL exam will end at 9:55am.
- Students are expected to leave campus each day immediately following the exam except for students scheduled to participate in extracurricular activities.
Library Hours During Exam Week:
- Wednesday, December 13, and Thursday, December 14 – 8:30am until 4:00pm
- Friday , December 15 – 8:30am until 3:15pm
- Monday, December 18 – 8:30am until 4:00pm
- Tuesday, December 19 – 8:30am until 11:00am
- The library is not a place for 7th and 8th grade students to hang out after exams are over.
