Watson Copeland - Eagle Scout Project

Wesleyan student, Watson Copeland, is currently working on his Eagle Scout project – a project that contributes to the community and benefits society. He has chosen to collect books for the organization Books for Africa. Their mission is to end the book famine in Africa. He is asking for the Wesleyan community to support him in two different ways:
  1. Donate your books. They can be textbooks (even textbooks out of circulation), hardback books, paperback books, children’s books, unused coloring books and workbooks, etc. They do NOT need foreign language, American History, Government, holiday or culture, or self-help books. There will be waterproof bins by the Copeland's mailbox and gate that you can leave at your convenience. The address is 4369 Riverview Drive, Peachtree Corners, GA 30097. If you prefer, Watson will be glad to pick up the books from your home. You may also leave books in the bin located outside of Gillfillan.
  2. Donate money to help pay for shipping these books to Africa. You may donate cash or a check made out to Books for Africa. Your donations are tax deductible! You may also pay online on at https://www.booksforafrica.org/index.html (if you choose to pay online please let Watson know how much money you donated so that we can keep track of it to document the project).
Watson will be taking the books and donations to Books for Africa on November 18, so please donate soon.
Thank you so much for your support and for helping Watson complete his Eagle Scout project!
