Visiting Author - Susie Gardner
Lower School students are looking forward to a visit from Macon author, Susie Gardner, on May 22. Ms. Gardner is the author of a delightful picture book: 1,2,3 Team!
1,2,3 Team! stresses the importance of teamwork. Ms. Gardner knows a great deal about teamwork. She was named Head Women's Basketball Coach at Mercer University in 2010 and has more than 200 Division I wins on her resume. She has coached college basketball for over 25 years. She holds BS and MEd degrees from The University of Georgia and is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Ms. Garder’s book 1,2,3 Team! is available on Amazon. She will be happy to autograph copies of her book if students bring their books to school on May 22.
