36 students join the college advising team for the Texas College Tour
Following the end of the school year, 36 students joined the college advising team on the Texas College Tour.
Participants flew to Dallas on Sunday night and traveled their way south visiting seven colleges and universities over the next four days. Students visited Austin College, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Baylor University, University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, and Rice University.
Current students enjoyed meeting Wesleyan alumnus Ben Smoke ’19 who led them on a tour of TCU. On the trip, students enjoyed the opportunity to visit public and private schools of various sizes in different settings enabling them to gain a clear understanding of the qualities important to them as they consider the colleges to which they would like to apply.
