The Class of 2023 bonds at the Senior Trip

Four years after their freshman retreat in 2019, the Class of 2023 bookended their high school experience with the beloved tradition of the senior trip at Camp Timberlake in North Carolina.
Designed to bond the class, the trip mirrors the freshmen retreat, and students explore issues of faith and friendship by reflecting on the past, present, and future.

“At the end of the day, the goal of senior trip lines up with the goals of all Christian life programming: that students would grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and in their relationships with each other,” explains Greg Lisson, director of Christian life.

The trip was filled with fun and adventurous activities like rafting, paintball, mountain biking, hiking, and much more.

“We hope these activities gave students meaningful opportunities to interact and grow together,” says Lisson.

Students spent time each day in worship, in conversation, and reading the Bible together.

“It’s one last chance to remind seniors of what is true, who God is, what He has done, and who He says they are. It’s one last chance to remind them that they are loved,” reflects Lisson.

Thank you, seniors, for a wonderful retreat. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf!
