Middle school students write and design the Wolf Post

Middle school students used their gifts and talents to write and design a triannual school paper called the Wolf Post. Each issue outlines and recaps recent and exciting opportunities at Wesleyan such as Omicron service club, athletics, or performing arts.
“When we have an interest meeting before an issue is developed, we present the students with a list of upcoming sports, activities, and after school events they can cover,” explains Anna Holloway, middle school English teacher and Wolf Post co-sponsor. “Students indicate what their interests are, and we assign topics accordingly. We are also open to student-generated ideas!”

Because the students are expected to work independently and at their own pace, many students that help create the Wolf Post also participate in other extracurriculars at the same time.

“I enjoy being a part of the middle school paper production because I can use my creativity to write fun stories or make comics that others can enjoy,” reflects Melloy Madray ‘28.
