Second grade students star in “Camp Learned-A-Lot"

Wesleyan second grade students shined as they performed the beloved annual play, “Camp Learned-A-Lot" for parents and fellow students in Bowen Cafetorium. Students starred as camp counselors, parents, campers, and talent show performers in the production.
Camp Learn-A-Lot is a place where children come to learn about God’s love and peace. Students acting as campers and camp counselors proclaimed the importance of using your words to express when your feelings get hurt in a catchy song urging the crowd to “for Pete’s sake, use a word!”

At the end of the production, students starring as campers recalled all they had learned from camp like Bible verses about peace and the importance of forgiving those who have hurt you.

One performer recited Colossians 3:15, which states “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.” Colossians 3:15 (NIV)

Well done, second grade!
