Track and Field - High School

5/14/22
The Girls Track team scored a school-record 87 points at the State Meet last week, good enough to earn then a second place finish overall.  Imani Washington won earned titles in the Shotput and Discus breaking her own shotput record with an incredible 45'11.5" throw, while Sade Ojanuga won the 100m hurdles and set a school record with a time of 15:15, and the girls 4x800 relay team of Abigail Glover, Kendrick Archer, Julie Ann Bush, and Anne McSweeney placed second and set a school record of 9:53:68!

The Track program has a strong showing at the Area-4 meet hosted at Wesleyan this week, with the girls placing First and the boys finishing as runners-up.  Nea Sanders tied for the High Point Award for the week, and Townes Hardy placed fifth for the High Point Award.  The Wolves take on State Sectionals next Saturday!

The girls finished first against against GAC, Denmark, and Mt. Bethel at home, while the boys placed second.  Senior Imani Washington broke the school record for the Shot Put!
