Golf - Varsity Boys
5/7/22
The Wesleyan Golf team finished 8th out of 18 teams in the North Georgia Classic at Achasta Golf CLub in Dahlonega. In this 36 hole event, the Wolves were led by Alex Holcomb at 6 over, followed closely by Andy Scott at 7 over, Beau Jackson at 10 over, and Ben Jackson at 13 over. The Team scores were 310 in the first round, and 302 in the second round of the tournament.

The Boys finished 4th out of 11 teams at the Brickyard Invitational in Macon. Alex Holcomb led scoring with a 76 followed by Stephen Streett with a 78. The team posted a combined 315.

Varsity Golf had a banner day, shooting a combined 295 -- the second lowest team score in Wesleyan Golf history. Individual records were also broken as Andy Scott shot 70 which included a 5-under back nine. Beau Jackson and Judd Stewart rounded out the top 3 with rounds of 73 and 75 respectively. The team finished 2nd overall in the Holy Innocents Invitational.

The Varsity Boys finished 5th out of 16 teams at the Lambert Invitational at Laurel Springs Golf CLub. Alex Holcomb led the team with a low round of 74. Andy Scott and Beau Jackson both posted 79, with Ben Jackson following at 80. The combined team score stood at 312 for 5th place.

The team shot a combined 318 at the Cambridge Cup in windy conditions. Judd Stewart led the Wolves with a 78, followed closely by Alex Holcomb with a 79. Holcomb also won the closest to the pin contest by sticking his shot within two feet on the Par Three #8.

The Boys finished tied for 7th at the AAC Invitational, which boasts one of the strongest fields in Georgia. The team shot a collective 242 in the play 4, count 3 format. The Wolves were led by Sophomore Andy Scott who shot a 75 to finish in the top 10 overall.

Varsity Boys Golf placed fourth in the 'Granger Shootout at Highland Country Club, posting a score of 327. Beau Jackson and Alex Holcomb led all the Wolves with scores of 77 and 79 respectively. Beau Jackson was named to the All-Tournament Team.
3/1/22
The Boys defeated Hebron Christian by three strokes at Hamilton Mill Golf Course. Beau Jackson led the team with an even par 36, while Andy Scott was only one shot behind.
2/26/22
The Boys finished third in the Blue Devil Shootuout at Arrowhead Pointe Golf Club on Saturday. The two man teams of Alex Holcomb and Judd Stewart along with Andy Scott and Brody Howard shot 71s. The team total of 214 was only 5 strokes behind the leaders.

The Varsity Boys Golf Team dropped their first match of the season against Blessed Trinity 163-155. Alex Holcomb led all scores with 36 at Brookfield Country Club.

Varsity Boys Golf finished 3rd today in the Buford Best Ball tournament at Bears Best. The two man teams of Alex Holcomb and Brody Howard along with Andy Scott and Beau Jackson tied for low honors for the day with scores of 2 over par. The tournament was a large one, consisting of 18 teams. All three Wesleyan teams showed grit and determination in the challenging windy conditions.
