The Lax boys concluded their season in the Elite 8 after falling to Westminster.  This season represents the best in Wolves Lax history as the team earned the best record in program history at 16-2, tied the deepest run in program history to the Elite 8, won the Gannon Cup as Single-A Private's top lacrosse team, and earned an Area Championship.

In addition to the team success, the Wolves earned numerous individual accolades including State Coach of the Year for Head Coach Connor Breslin, First Team All-State for Matt Blanton, Second Team All-State for Lawson Jones and Zach Blanton, and Honorable Mention All-State for Chandler Coperhaver and Jameson Meyer.

The Varsity Boys Lacrosse team earned the Crown as Area Champions on Friday as the rest of the Area concluded their schedules.  The Boys were nearly flawless in the Area, only dropping one game to Marist by a close margin.  After a three-way tie-breaker between Marist, St. Pius X, and the Wolves, our boys emerged as Area Champs.  As a result, they will play North Cobb Christian at home on Wednesday at 6:45pm in the First Round of the GHSA Playoffs.

The Lacrosse Boys secured the Gannon Cup, a tournament designed to crown the top Lacrosse team in Single-A-Private, with a 9-4 win over Fellowship on the road last night!  Pending results of other Area games this evening, they could potentially lock up an Area Championship as well as they await the first round of the GHSA playoffs next week.

The Boys closed their regular season with a 15-6 Area victory over Decatur on the road.  That gives them a Program best 13-1 regular season record as they head into postseason play with the Gannon Cup and GHSA Playoffs looming.  Final seeding in the Area has yet to be finalized.

The boys pulled out a great 8-5 win over St. Pius to go 2-0 in the Area and move to 11-0 overall. The defense was stout; led by Nick Schaller and Rowan Reinhard. The two paired for a caused turnover, ground ball, and transition assist which helped ice the game late in the fourth.

2/25/22
The Varsity Lacrosse boys won 8-4 on Friday over Dunwoody. Nick Schaller set a physical tone for the game on defense. Jameson Meyer, Broder Conley, and Lawson Jones looked like the showtime Lakers out there; converting multiple times on fast break opportunities created by Mitch Badciong. Chandler Copenhaver continued to be a consistent anchor in net.
