Guest speaker Ron Swift challenges middle and high school students to glorify God by being in relationship with Jesus

Pastor Ron Swift recently spoke at middle and high school chapels, and he challenged students to glorify God by being in relationship with Jesus. Swift is an associate pastor at One Heart Church in Norcross, and with energy and courage, he encouraged students to remember that we each hold individual and collective responsibility for building God’s kingdom.
Swift opened his message by describing a “kingdom mindset,” and he reminded students that they have an opportunity to draw others into the kingdom of God by how they live. As he invited a dozen or so students onto the stage in Austin Chapel, Swift described how each of them lives in a different “earth suit.” He explained that by virtue of living in an “earth suit,” each student has an opportunity to glorify God while here on this side of heaven. That opportunity to glorify God matters far more than the appearance of the “earth suit.”

To close, Swift shared that the best way to glorify God is to be in relationship with Jesus, and he invited students to join him in praying for a deepening faith in Christ.

Thank you, Pastor Swift, for encouraging and challenging our students!
