Kavel '17 Tabbed Preseason All-ACC
Duke University's Jameson Kavel '17 was named Preseason All-ACC as an Infielder.
Kavel, the beneficiary of an extra year of eligibility as a result of NCAA Covid adjustments, enters her 5th year with the Blue Devils as a utility player. She earned Preseaon All-ACC recognition as an Infielder, but the Blue Devils list her as an outfielder on their roster. In her 4th year with the Blue Devils, Kavel batted .320 with 13 doubles, 33 RBI, and 20 Stolen Bases which landed her on the postseason All-ACC team. Through her career, Kavel has been named CoSIDA Academic All-District twice, and has earned ACC Honor Roll distinction every year in Durham. Duke is picked to finish 4th in the ACC this season.
