Visual art students complete three-part mural project

Members of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) recently completed a three-part mural project intended to brighten the “wells” of Cleghorn Hall. Through virtual, hybrid, and now in-person learning, NAHS students used their creativity and painting skills to depict “mind, body, and spirit,” on the below-ground, exterior walls outside the modern and classical languages classrooms on the bottom floor of Cleghorn Hall.
“Virtual and hybrid learning delayed us,” explain NAHS members on the @wesleyanvisarts Instagram page, “but did not dampen the joy of the final product!”

The “mind” mural takes a peek into the churning mind and features connecting and rotating cogs and orange and blue designs.

The “body” mural shows a collection of colorful faces, each with a different, abstract expression.

The “spirit” mural includes cursive text reading “you are loved” over fluffy, white clouds and an imaginative sky.

Well done, Wesleyan artists!
