The Wolves started hot and never looked back in a 23-2 upset victory over #5 Athens Academy last Friday. Offensively, Jett Miller went 10-19 for 139 yards and 1 TD, Thomas Cook snagged 4 balls for 52 yards and a TD while adding a 68 yard TD pass of his own, and brother Bobby Cook hauled in 2 passes for 93 yards and a TD. Byrne Ahrenkiel had 12 carries for 79 yards and added 12 tackles of his own on Defense. That effort earned Ahrenkiel a nomination for Gwinnett Daily Post's player of the week, which you can vote for here. The Wolves are off this week, and begin Region play against Hebron Christian at home on 10/15.
