Families enjoy the first Family Night of the year

Wesleyan families with students of all ages enjoy the first Family Night of the 2021-2022 school year on Thursday, Sept. 30. Family Nights are planned throughout the school year to give the community a homework-free evening on which you can spend time as a family without schoolwork and events encroaching on that time.
Wesleyan’s goal is to alleviate pressure and stress by carving out time for families in our fast-paced and hectic world. Our goal is to provide a small opportunity for our community to slow down and enjoy time with the people they love.

Some families, like the Urbizos and Sanchetis, choose to stay in and enjoy fellowship at home. The Urbizo family made s’mores and played board games, and the Sancheti family built a diorama of Van Gogh’s house. Other families, like the Cullinans, choose to try new activities as a family. The Cullinans bowled and played arcade games at Bowlero before enjoying a family dinner together.

However you choose to spend Family Nights, we hope these nights are a gift and fill our families with an added measure of God’s peace.

The next Family Night is Thursday, Nov. 11.
