Wesleyan Welcomes New Administrative Staff Members for the 2021-2022 School Year

Wesleyan School is excited to welcome the following administrative staff members to the athletics, technology, after care, fine arts, and communications departments! Read more about their backgrounds below:
Communications

Ann Barnett
will join our communications team as the communications director after spending four years working on the admissions and communications teams at Whitefield Academy where she also coached varsity girls and boys cross country and varsity girls soccer. Before Whitefield, Ann served as a middle school faculty fellow here at Wesleyan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At Wesleyan, she will coach middle school girls soccer. Ann currently attends Brookhaven Presbyterian Church.

Technology

Allison Berry will join our technology department as a K-12 technology coach after serving as a STEM teacher and manager of technology at Holy Spirit Preparatory School for the past four years. Before moving to Holy Spirit Preparatory School, she taught high school English and technology for five years at Pinecrest Academy. Allison earned a Bachelor of Science in English Education at Ohio University.  She attends St. Andrew in Roswell with her family.  

After Care

Rachael Johnson will transition to the after care manager after serving as the lead for Pre-1st/1st grade after care. Previously, Rachael worked at First Baptist Atlanta in the Missions Ministry and volunteered as a lead teacher in Children’s Church. Rachael has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. She enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her eight nieces and nephews. Rachael currently attends Church of the Apostles. 

Fine Arts

Jennifer Jordan joins the fine arts department as the middle and lower school drama director. Jennifer is no stranger to theater, having directed and music directed numerous productions with Christian Youth Theater (CYT), Peachtree Corners Baptist Church and Cornerstone Christian Academy. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Clayton State University and is an active voice teacher in Peachtree Corners. Jennifer serves as director of music at Christ Church Norcross where she and her husband and two boys are members. 

Athletics

Tom Moak joins the Wesleyan athletics department as the assistant athletic director for media after spending the past six years at The Lovett School.  A 2009 graduate of The Westminster Schools, Tom went on to graduate from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in American History and a certificate in American Studies. He earned four varsity letters on the football team where he played wide receiver and special teams. After Princeton, he earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Georgia State University. During his time at Lovett, Tom taught history, English, and religion, served as the tenth grade dean, and coached football, baseball, and basketball. In addition to his athletic responsibilities at Wesleyan, Tom will teach high school history and coach varsity football. Tom and his wife, Mary Rose Perez, attend Christ the King Cathedral.
