Nadia Thieriot '22 and Kayla Kim '22 Selected for Governor's Honors Program

The College Advising Office is pleased to announce that Nadia Thieriot '22 and Kayla Kim '22 have been selected for the prestigious Governor’s Honors Program, a four-week summer residential program for gifted students.

The Governor’s Honors Program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom, and that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders. Nadia and Kayla were selected through a detailed nomination, application, and interview process.

Nadia will be representing Wesleyan in world languages specifically, in Latin, and Kayla will represent Wesleyan in science, specifically in chemistry. This year’s program will be held at Berry College; Nadia and Kayla’s selections cover the cost of meals and housing.

Congratulations to Nadia and Kayla and the entire Thieriot and Kim families for this tremendous honor!
