Varsity Girls Basketball Prepares For Playoffs With Strong Finish
The Lady Wolves basketball team finished third in the Region 5A-Private Region Tournament Saturday with a 59-51 win over Galloway.
Senior Alyssa Phillip led all Lady Wolves with 17 points and 16 rebounds in the winning effort. Other Lady Wolves who contributed offensively were; Chit Chat Wright (15pts, 7rebs), Sade Ojanuga (13pts, 6rebs) , and Eva Garabadian (12pts, 4 steals).
They will face the number two seed Tallulah Falls from Region 8 in the the first round of the GHSA Class-A Private playoffs.
