A Message to the Community From the Head of School

As a white male, in spite of my strong feelings on the subject, I often feel inadequate to speak intelligently on issues regarding race in our country. But I will not be silent any longer. What we are currently witnessing in our nation goes well beyond a conversation on race relations. This is about justice. This is about what is right. This is about our mission as a Christian school.
If we believe God is who He says He is, and if we are who we say we are as people of faith, these issues must matter to us.

I am angry, and I have to do better. We have to do better. Change will only occur when good men and women stand up and make their voices known for what is right.

I love and stand by our families of color at Wesleyan School as we see the pain and frustration of continued racial injustice in our nation.

Let us be a school that raises up and educates a generation of children who are passionate about justice. Let us be a community of men and women of prayer and action in a world that is desperate for healing and love for our brothers and sisters who are hurting.
