Senior Skyler Williams Named to All-State Band
Wesleyan senior Skyler Williams has made history by being Wesleyan's first percussionist to make the Georgia All-State Band. Having auditioned through two rounds in December and January, Skyler now goes onto all-state in March.
In early March, Skyler, along with the top 5% of high school players in the state, will work with renowned conductor Dr. Jamie Nix from Columbus State University. On the final day, members of the All-state band will perform a concert at the Classic Center in Athens.
