Middle School Softball Rallies to Defeat the Titans

The Middle School softball team earned a hard-fought win over Blessed Trinity on Tuesday night to stay alive in the Middle School Tournament. Wesleyan was down 2-5 going into the fourth inning when they posted a 4-run inning. The big blast came from Lauren Tucker who hit a line drive that rolled to the outfield fence, scoring 3 runs to push the Wolves ahead by 1 run.  Lydie Barnett closed out the game to earn the win, while Audrey Doss added 2 big hits to help the Lady Wolves.  The final out in the game came as TJ Webb threw out the would-be tying run at home plate from center field where Marjee Williams applied the tag for the win.
